{"id":12,"date":"2011-07-16T16:02:23","date_gmt":"2011-07-16T20:02:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/churchoflaughter.com\/?p=12"},"modified":"2011-07-17T11:06:10","modified_gmt":"2011-07-17T15:06:10","slug":"hey-washington-its-not-a-game-its-our-country","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/churchoflaughter.com\/?p=12","title":{"rendered":"Hey Washington, its not a game, its our country&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The membership has had a great debate going about the idiots in Washington who are unable to do the job they were sent there to do.\u00a0 I share some of the interesting responses here:<\/p>\n<p>_________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>For 2011,\u00a0US\u00a0Federal\u00a0spending is projected at $3,818.8 billion.\u00a0 Therefore, $3.8 trillion just for the year 2011.\u00a0 Of that, $107.2 billion will go to families and children (not just inner\u00a0city, but\u00a0rural as well).\u00a0 That equates to 2.8% of the total budget.\u00a0 At the same time, defense spending amounts to $964.8 billion, \u00a025.3% of the total spending.<\/p>\n<p>There is no question about who got our country into our current\u00a0fiscal difficulties&#8211;the\u00a0people who demanded the elimination of federal regulations, beginning with Ronald Reagan and ending with George W.
