Pinky DeLong sat on the wrong\r\nstoop as he beckoned the day.\r\n\r\nHe celebrated his sun, as she had begun\r\nto conquer the moon again.\r\n\r\nHe yawned as she dawned and\r\n\tshe beamed as he leaned\r\non the brick post at the fore of his bed.\r\n\r\nWhile he languished in her glory,\r\n\tshe passed the third story\r\nand rested at the top of the bank.\r\n\r\nThen his eyes met the wagon,\r\n\tthe eight-eyed dragon\r\nwhose pious reverence was only for him.\r\n\r\nSo with a smile on his face and his\r\n\tmorning wad in place\r\nhe expectorated the morning at them.\r\n\r\nThen scratching as he pleased he rose to his knees\r\nand gathered his bed to his back.\r\n\r\nHe walked rather bent, yet smiled as he went\r\nenjoying the thrill of another day.\r\n\r\nHis body filled with mirth as he delighted in the birth\r\nand his victory over the frozen world.\r\n\r\nFor the joy that life lacked, his love would bring back\r\nwhen he woke to her morning kiss.\r\n\r\nHe felt her warm at his side and deep down inside\r\noff walked Pinky DeLong.<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
