Former E.P.A. official John Beale admits to lying about his C.I.A. ties, contracting malaria and serving in Vietnam, all while collecting nearly $1 m in salary and retention bonuses – though not working at all at EPA as he was allegedly on special ops assignment with the CIA.  Unbelievable!
